NIGHT GAMES

The baseball field in Coalwood has lights! Night games are now being played on the field. Teams from around the county are enjoying the summer nights here in Coalwood.

COALWOOD MOVIE

Steve Date’s Coalwood film, Welcome to Coalwood, will definitely be ready very soon, per Steve himself. The DVD’s will be available at the OSF.

EMPTY FIELD HAS NEW LIFE

A gazebo has been erected in the spot where the Company Store once stood. We hear it is the project of several Coalwood residents. What a lovely photo setting when visiting the town.

E.E. CASSELL PARK IMPROVEMENTS

Cape Coalwood Restoration Association has added new playground equipment to Cassell Park. They have also added a new sheltered picnic pavilion. Let’s all hope vandals will not destroy this park like they did the park at the “rocket site”.
