The Consolidated Mutual magazine published September 1922 had this article about the apartments:
The new apartment houses are rapidly taking form and when completed they will be superior, as to beauty and convenience, to any in this coalfield. Mr. Kisner, the contractor, is pushing the work and will have them ready for occupancy at the set time.
